I got a lot of questions as to "HOW" I let my blobs look so massive and fat. It's not only about their bodies basically. It's to use their environment they're in to show how big they are. Objects that are massive for a normal human being in comparison are a good choice! Have skyscrapers, that are tiny on the ground besides a chracters blob belly and it will make a huge difference as to how "massive" they appear.
Not every picture I'm drawing is using that trick. So how am I doing it?
1. Well first of all it's the amount of fat rolls I add in. A blob has a lot of chins vor example. The more the better, let their head disappear completely... at that weight you won't be able to see head, hands or feet at all. Make those fat rolls big and plentyful to show their massiveness.
2. A blob isn't a blob if you can define every single bodypart. A blob has masses of fat covering it's surroundings. Let that fat spread and make it unrecognizable from which part of the characters body those fat rolls came from.
3. Fat has many forms. Let it play around. Give it some folds there, some rolls over there. Make the right part of a roll bigger than the left part and so on. Fat does not spread equally!
I hope I explained it good enough and gave you some tips if you want to draw blobs yourself :3
